In this unit (the number 6 in our English book) we are studing how to make the past continuous and how to identify what is the grammar tense we are talking about if we have more than one in the same sentence. In order to practice, the girl that is in Mariluz class (doing her practical subject for the university) Alba, has prepared a game for us. It is called "Who wants to be a millionaire" and we had fun in class playing it. Now you have the opportunity to play it again and completely understad the different grammar tenses. PAST CONTINUOUS

Today, we have studied a new grammar tense: PAST CONTINUOUS. As you can see in the video, we use PAST CONTINUOUS to talk about a situation that happened in a certain period of time in the past.  The structure is pretty similar to present continuous but we put the verb TO BE in past. Aff: subject + verb to be in past (was/were) + verb + -ing + complements.        I was go ing to my house.       We were go ing to our house. Neg: Subject + verb to be in past + not + verb + -ing + complements.      I was not (wasn´t) go ing to my house.     We were not (weren´t) go ing to our house. Questions: Verb to be in past + subject + verb + - ing + complements + ?     Was I go ing to my house?     Were we go ing to our house?
